SRS VIDYA MANDIR STORY

S.K. Educational Trust was established in memory of Sri.S.Kailasam and Smt. Sarathambal Kailasam of Vedaranyam on 20-02-2003 by their daughter Mrs. Sarojini Rajendren wife of Mr.S.Rajendren who was a close associate with Rajah of Chettinad family for nearly four decades. He was the Personal Secretary to Dr Ramaswamy former Pro-Chancellor of Annamalai University.

Realizing these facts, Sri. S.Kailasam established a new Government High School with 18 students on 12- 09-1993 at Thethakudi South, Vedaranyam, Nagapattinam District. He made all children of each and every corner of the village to get quality education. By remitting Rs.5,00,000/- to the Government, his wife Smt.Sarathambal Kailasam found the S.K. Govt. High School in memory of her husband Sri. S.Kailasam.
